Window Film Academy is perfect for brand new installers with no prior experience, beginner installers, and/or intermediate installers looking to improve upon their current skill set and/or knowledge.

We also highly encourage business owners to join Window Film Academy so that they can easily provide supplemental training for new team members. This will save owners valuable time, energy, and resources.

You will need the basic tools & equipment that we go over in module 3 of the Window Film Academy, such as a spray bottle, squeegee, peel board, etc.

We focus on being able to walk anyone through the entire automotive window film installation process, start to finish, in a way that is easy to digest, follow, and replicate.

Austin Cook (instructor), has over 14+ years of experience as a professional window film installer as well as experience training students online and in person via The Tintstitute, for more than 6 years.

The Window Film Academy is a structured course that is tailored to beginner and intermediate level installers. The videos are in-depth and show the step-by-step process of tinting a car from start to finish. The videos in the Window Film Academy course are organized into modules with assessments at the end of each.

The subscription membership site gives you access to over 200 instructional videos that will cover business topics and teach you how to install window film, vinyl and paint protection film. The training videos are catered to all levels of installers and business owners alike. The membership site contains a searchable video library of instructional videos rather than a structured course.

Flat Glass Academy is focused on teaching students how to install architectural window film, otherwise known as "flat glass". This is window film that is installed on commercial/residential windows usually on buildings.

Austin Cook, owner of Quality and Founder of The Tintstitute began his career at the age of 19 and has over 15 years of experience in the window film industry, growing from a one-man-shop to a successful business with over a dozen team members and additional services (ppf, wraps, signs, etc.). He has been instructing thousands of students in person and online since launching The Tintstitute in 2017. His goal at The Tintstitute is to inspire and educate the next generation of successful window film installers.
